JBO offers recreational and competitive levels of play. If we have enough players for only one team, this team will be at the recreational (National) level. If we have enough players register for more than one team, we can then consider signing up for the competitive (American) level. We will not be able to guarantee a team at the competitive level; it will all depend on the number of boys we have sign up.
We will be initiating a new policy with a maximum team size of 13. This change is needed for our spring sports in order to maximize instruction time for our volunteer coaches as well as playing time for the students.
What this means is that for every level (3/4 Minors, 5/6 Juniors, 7/8 Seniors) in both softball and baseball, the first 13 students registered will be placed on a team. After 13, anyone who registers will be notified of their placement on a Wait List.
If your student is placed on the Wait List, your position on the list will be held for you, but you will not have to pay the fee right away. (You will be notified during the registration process online if this is the case). Once there are enough students on the Wait List to form a new team, you will be notified of placement and then have 2 days (or until registration closes, whichever is less) to complete payment for your student to be added to the team. If you do not complete payment within that time frame, the position will be open to another student and you will move to the end of the line.
If there are not enough players to form a team by the close of registration, you will be notified, and your account will not be charged. Your student will not be placed on a team.

All baseball bats in JBO, Inc. will be either “BBCOR”, “BPF 1.15”, or “USABaseball” certified. Umpires are required to perform a pre-game inspection of all equipment, especially bats, to ensure proper certification. Use of an illegal/altered bat shall be considered unsportsmanlike conduct and the player and Head Coach shall be ejected from the game. Both the ejected player & coach may be subject to further disciplinary action by the District and JBO, Inc.
Pants, shirt, socks, belt and hat are provided with your registration fee.
If your team chooses to participate in any available tournaments offered throughout the season, the team members will be responsible for paying the registration fees.
If your team makes it to the district tournament at the end of the season, Eagle Athletics will pay for half of that registration fee, and the team will be responsible for paying the other half.
